I have a mint green afghan/blanket that my grandmother made (she died in 1987 at age 96) that I've always wanted to make myself. However, not being much of a crocheting person, I didn't figure out how to do it. Last night I was reading past posts on this site and found it. It was a really simple pattern called the Never-Ending-Blanket Square on a site someone recommended another member to check out for an easy to make lap blanket. I will be making lots of these.

Thanks, Lindsey. It will be a while before I post any pictures. I'm hoping to leave for a three month trip in my motor home on Saturday and it is one of the projects I am saving for down time on the trip. I'll also be doing my first pair of loom socks, and hopefully a granny square afghan. Will post pictures of each as I get them done.
