Crocheted flowers

I need to fill in a neckline. I thought it might be neat to crochet some about 2" flowers and string them together across--square neckline, fabric & design seem compatible with crochet. Does anyone have a pattern they can share for 1 1/2" to 2" flowers (three dimensional, maybe?) I'll probably also try to "wing it."
