Jane, so happy you posted all these pictures. The feather tree and decoration on the buffet look nice. Love that bowl you found. Hutch all decorated with Santa, fruit and silver turned out well. Your chandy looks nice and the plaid shades would be a nice chng for Christmas season if you find them. I love your pink tree! The lg china hutch looks festive. Sorry the light of the nativity failed to work this year. Lights can be such a PAIN. Pretty wreath and love the old decorated wagon for your entrance. You say garland needs to be 'beefier', seems a little anemic.lol I think that type of garland is meant to look like that. Sometimes less is more. It doesn't take away from other things there. I'm liking the twigs you used on your wreath and garland. The more you show these twigs, the more I want to play w/some. The little cardinals, Santa and candles look great on your mantel. Punk, I would LOVE to adopt you for another daughter. LOL. Things would get done around here fast then, plus you said you love to cook. livvyandbella, I have around a dozen life-size Whippet-Greyhound statues. One near the front door is so realistic, it often stops strangers in their tracks when they come in. LOL. The one by the twig tree was an old concrete piece from eBay that I made look like a bronze. Jane, I may sound like a 'dynamo' but if you saw me limping around and trying to decorate, you'd laugh. My legs and back make me move like I'm 99 yrs old now. Luvs, if I regret letting Alissa or Suzie take something, I'll just go get it back. LOL. My daughter came over this evening and took a LOT, Suz will be here tomorrow and hope she does the same. Then I'll STILL have too much stuff!! LOL. Jeanne, I'm so sorry you and DH are sick. Sending lots of good thoughts for you both feeling better soon. The turkey plates are packed away and Christmas ones on counter now. After the holidays, my rooster plates go back there. Betty, after making that purple wreath last year, I was NOT going to dismantle all my work, so I just hung it as is in the coat closet! It won't change, ever. LOL. That was my first attempt at making a big wreath, and may be my last the way I'm going. Especially as I've become an outstanding procrastinator. It seems that my "calendar" contains EIGHT days in a week. Cause I'm always planning to do something Someday! I really appreciate all the wonderful comments. It means a lot to me. My DH never says a word about anything, knowing him he doesn't even see most of it. LOL. Mr Oblivious is alive and well...and usually on the golf course! My dad just loves it tho. And my DD also thought things looked good so far. I got quite a bit more done today, tho a lot of that was still sorting things out. I just discovered a small box of cardinals in the garage bin, and two more boxes of ornaments. Dang, I think this stuff is out there multiplying! hugs, Karen

Jeanne, you sure had me smiling with all your posts and comments. LOL. I needed that today, mental and physical meltdown. Just didn't feel like doing a single thing, so I didn't. Kind of napped most all day, felt like a Zombie. Marlene, I really did cut back a lot as I just didn't have "what it takes" to do what I usually do. Besides not getting out the three 6 ft trees, I didn't put garland on several of my china cabinet tops. And I STILL haven't finished the family-room mantel or done any swags. Several things still need ornaments added too. I didn't realize what a huge job unpacking and sorting EVERYTHING was going to be....I tend to forget how much I have. LOL. Right now I've got to decide what ornaments to use, without those larger trees I have a lot and I do love them. I had wanted to hang a BIG wreath over family-room mantel (where Jason's portrait is) and load it with ornaments. But I just don't think I can afterall. I usually have a wreath there, or last year put a mirror there and garland around it...this time "Jas may stay thru-out Christmas". LOL. I can always drape garland around his portrait I guess. Maybe I just need a few days break, the past one has been so busy and hard physically. (do those Energy drinks work? LOL. Athletes seem to think so.) Karen..thanks for the compliments and for adding my pics to the Christmas Album..I'm honored.. love2weed..This for me, was an early snow..It's nice to have right before Christmas tho. I'm always arranging and rearranging, esp during holidays, and try not to get it too busy..some times I take pics so I don't forget after I've arranged it just so!! lovesummer...just your name alone, makes me pine for the summer, right after New Years!!.. My original sleds, I unfortunately gave away too, however, we did find these at Flea Mkts.. I know what you mean about kids today not thinking these are 'cool' to use anymore..Great for us to use as decos tho!! lol mo..thank you...Glad you liked the B&W...they took me many yrs of Bargain hunting - tag sales - estate sales - flea mkts..I love them too and never tire of them. sandi..that wagon was a great find.
