Eileen, that was the ever-present "veggie pizza", my daughters love the stuff. Bake a crust out of crescent roll dough. Yeah, the stuff in the can, LOL. Mix a brick of cream cheese with a cup of mayo and some dry ranch dressing mix. I don't measure, just dump the dressing mix in, stir and taste until it's good. Top with fresh vegetables of your choice, chopped into pieces small enough to eat easily. Mine usually has cauliflower, broccoli, some green onions, carrots, red peppers. Even the kids gobble it down, go figure. I made it once with homemade pizza dough and no one wanted it. Back to the canned crescent rolls. (grin) Annie

The folks who were asked to take pix of the food and people --well, either they were blurry, or they were of the people! No problem, but it would have been nice to show the entire table array of food and flower bouquets! I used a balsamic recipe from lex culinaria, but for this dish, I deliberately left out the ketchup and the salt (many folks in our age group have high blood pressure so reducing or eliminating any extra sodium is good). Here's the recipe in case you don't have it. It's wonderful!!! Balsamic Salad Dressing from lex Culinaria 1 cup olive oil (or parmesan infused olive oil) ⨠1/2 cup balsamic vinegar ⨠6 tablespoons good quality grated parmesan cheese ⨠1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce ⨠1 tablespoon lemon juice ⨠2 tablespoons sugar ⨠1/2 teaspoon paprika ⨠1/2 teaspoon dry mustard ⨠6 whole cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp. garlic powder) ⨠2 tablespoons ketchup (can use a little more to make it thicker) ⨠1 + 1/2 teaspoons salt ⨠Mix everything in a jar and shake. All things come to those who wait...or something like that. JustLinda, yes my hair turned out fine, and the girl fluffed it up so all the white showed, and I like it that way. Of course after sleeping on it, being out in the wind, and being hugged a lot at the wedding, I don't know what it might look like in the pictures. Sue, your mention of the GW did remind me that I had gone there back in February I think, and I had forgotten about that. But I did go to the GW again, maybe on the day I went to the SA, and that is when I found the red dress I liked, but it was too small. Then that final trip to the GW on the 27th was when I found the pink one. I think this will be the last wedding in my family; at least I hope so! Sue
