We are having leftover chili. I just can't make a small amount of things like chili, homemade dressing, soups and red beans & rice..

We had my cousin and her DH over to watch the ballgames yesterday. He made homemade salsa & guacamole that was to die for...

We had the turkey orzo soup that daughter traded to us for baby sitting her dog on Friday. I think we made out on that deal. Great soup and we love that little dog. I added some corn bread and a salad to the soup. No dessert planned, but there is ice cream to eat up if we think we need something

A yucky day weatherwise here in OH today... a mixed bag.

My meal was chicken breast w/Stovetop stuffing, a sweet potato, and leftover green beans. A colorful plate.

It looked like snow weather here - gray & chilly out. It wasn't cold enough, so no snow. We had pizza for dinner.

Too cold to snow here. Still in the - temps. Have a stuffed chicken roasting in the oven. Extra stuffing on the side and peas for hubby *shudders*

Left-over vegetable soup and bread fresh from the oven. I just love the aroma of bread baking. I mix it in the machine, but bake it in the oven. I think I ate about four slices!

Eggs, grits, biscuits, and sausage gravy. We don't have that very often but it surely did hit the spot!

I made a big mozzarella stuffed meatloaf to last a couple of days. Mashed potatoes and corn.

It was a beautiful, sunny, cold day today.

We went to a little Mexican restaurant near by that we had never tried and it was very good but so much food, I have an entire lunch for tomorrow.

It is spitting something out of the sky and everyone in the parking lot was saying it was snow I think it might have been but the temperature is to high to stay snow.

Continued cold front, but thankfully rain has stopped.

Busy weekend and I am too tired to cook. I have a sourdough baguette and lunch meats, so I'll make sandwiches. Nothing exciting :(

Laura, almost everything I make "grows". Chili, baked ziti, scalloped potatoes. We love leftovers.

Shirley, how did you do your sweet potato? Did you bake it, or microwave it? We like it mixed with white or yukon golds. I've never eaten a sweet potato on its own.

Angela, that is cold! I can't get over the cold temps, we've been real lucky. Roasted chicken is one of hubby's favourite meals.

Phyllis, bread is our downfall. And homemade can't be beat. I often divide a loaf between a couple of friends and they are in heaven.

Jean, meatloaf and mashed potatoes and corn. Real comfort food. Have never had meatloaf with mozzarella though. Sounds yummy! I had a friend who used to put a hard-boiled egg in the middle of hers.

Matti, sandwiches taste extra good, when they're made on baguettes.

We had roasted cornish hens with rosemary, sea salt, and white wine and I wanted to use up the parmesan cheese, so I had potatoes in cheese, topped with browned parmesean (how do you spell that?!).
