Carol, As far as I know, our very slight chance of snow (10%) has been removed from the forecast. Yippee! Still, the nights are colder than usual and the frost is so heavy that the grass crunches when you walk on it early in the morning. I wish y'all were having the weather we're having here this weekend. Today is our second day of sunshine for the whole entire day and both yesterday and today we hit about 50 degrees. Still, we have a very small number of snowy patches remaining in shady spots that just will not melt, and all the puddles and the ponds refreeze every night. Spring still seems so far away, although the sunshine helps make this winter weather a little more bearable. Dawn

In NYC, there's Peanut Butter & Co. Yup, they have the "Elvis" (with or without bacon). And Fluffernutters. And the "Pregnant Lady" (PB & pickles). I'd try this: A Black & Tan -- PB with a drizzle of chocolate syrup. Or a Peanut Butter Cup: PB with Nutella. Or some of the "gourmet" sandwiches: A Cinnamon Raisin Swirl: Cinnamon raisin PB and vanilla cream cheese, stuffed with crisp apple slices. Dark Chocolate Dreams sandwich: Dark chocolate PB and cherry jam, stuffed with shredded coconut. (the menu says it's PB&J meets black forest cake.) And I have to admit I'd like to taste this: The Mighty Maple: Mighty Maple PB (one of a variety of specialty PBs there) with crispy bacon. How do you think "vanilla cream cheese" is made? Just add vanilla extract to plain cream cheese? The place also serves baloney-and-cheese sandwiches (I still eat those!), tuna sandwiches, grilled cheese, etc. -- all those things that Moms used to make for their kids.

That is weird! It is the same way for me... no place to post a reply! I agree with you Patti about not being happy if the phone rang at 6:30 am. My BIL sometimes calls for my DH very early.. then I'm awake for the rest of the day. I don't usually get up till 8:00 and I'm one of those people who don't function well if I don't get my sleep.

Thanks bunches! I'll have to ask his dad to check on that. He DID talk briefly with Parke Jr, Friday, as he needed his passport number. Of course, I had it, but he called his dad. He'll be gone two weeks this coming Monday. 7 more weeks to go :o) I think!
