I had leftovers: pork, sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes. Now I'll go and put a small piece of ham in the oven, and make up potato salad for tomorrow's party. If our weather prohibits having it, I'll freeze the ham, and see which of my kids wants to come get the potato salad. Can't sweat the small stuff.

Yucky weather here in OH, snow and off/on freezing rain. Hopefully, it all moves out in the night.

Yes, nasty wet snow out, probably got 6 inches on top of what we had already. I don't have to get out so it doesn't bother me. I was looking for my two big muffin pans, they each hold 24 and in the process started cleaning on my pantry. I did find the pans and will use them Tuesday for my rolls I have to bake. Supper was more of the leftover potato soup and I made a new pie dough and baked a little of it and am putting instant vanilla pudding over it and will try that. I liked the crust. Im not sure but I am getting hungry. I may have some spaghetti with jarred sauce with some added mushrooms. Doesn't sound great but I think my option is a frozen dinner. Last night I ended up having a ham and cheese sandwich. Stay warm everybody.

A little warmer today but it has been raining since last night. After the rain it will get cold again.

Dinner was spaghetti & meat balls with a salad for hubby. Dessert was a chocolate cake.

I'm snacking on some mixed nuts. Hubby can have leftover 15 bean soup, corn bread, chicken sandwiches from the chicken I roasted or whatever else he finds in the fridge. Good thing he likes leftovers. I'll freezer dive tomorrow and pull stuff out for next week's dinners.

We're having a salad with leftover lima beans and brown rice.

Just made chocolate syrup so we will have ice cream in a bit for dessert.

It was a snow day here, with over 6 inches falling. I made a run to a grocery store that is closing and stocked up at 50% off, then started cooking. I made Roladen, or beef roll ups, full of bacon, onions and a pickle. The rich gravy makes the house smell so good. Eleven rolls so three were for dinner with red cabbage and spatzle. The rest will be freezer meals.

Freezer diving, I love it. It is cold enough here that I can put containers on the patio for freezing. One advantage to winter.

Yesterday I had a large bag of cat food and a bag of flour outside to freeze any potential buggies.

Terri, I noticed you baked twice-baked and sweet potatoes. I've never baked a sweet potato. Iike them combined with white ones (e.g.mashed, roasted). I'm not sure I'd like a whole sweet potato on it's own. :)
