We are having grilled chicken breasts, roasted fresh green beans and mashed potatoes..and garlic bread.

Four of us went to Lloyd's after church.

I had their half plate: fried chicken thigh and leg, butter peas and creamed corn. Dellcious!

Shrimp scampi and pecan pie. Partly cloudy and a bit chilly here but at least better than last week's wet and windy days.

Patti, you have had this sore throat much too long. Please go to the Dr's before it gets worse. You can't afford not to get checked out.

For dinner hubby had turkey sandwiches & stuffing's. For me I had a open faced turkey sandwich.

We are on the road again heading home. I packed us some ham sandwiches from the leftover spiral honey ham.

Heavy traffic on the road today unfortunately.

I made soup stock with the left over ham bone and also made Turkey noodle soup with leftovers from turkey. I could eat soup everyday and looks like I will be doing so :)

For dinner I am making a turkey panini with cranberry sauce and havarti cheese.

Patti, I'm glad you're feeling better. Tonight we're having chicken piccata, couscous, and steamed green beans.

I haven't decided yet..I was going to put in Costco's pork loin rib roast and make some orzo vermicelli.

But there are still leftovers needed to be eaten.

Made turkey noodle soup. For the noodles, I found some trattole pasta...very interesting.

I made turkey sandwiches with the last of the turkey also.

I have not felt too well today, but have been up and about, did not go to church. I had cooked bean soup and cornbread for lunch and Cheryl and Kevin came and she brought more food and fixed. Amber, Mike and Alyssa also came after church and we all had lunch. Kevin and Cheryl put up my new draperies and rods in the living room, family room and kitchen. So glad to get them up. My supper was just zucchini raspberry jam on buttered toast and hot tea. Feels good to the throat. Also waiting to hear when the new great grandson arrives. She went in at midnight last night, but still not doing a lot. May have to do a C-Section. Patti you should go to the doctor tomorrow, can't have you sick girl friend.

Okay so used some of this and that in the fridge and made a big skillet of:
Chicken Broccoli Pasta.

Yummy easy and filling.

We made cream of turkey soup; used the little bit of leftover mashed potatoes to thicken it. Yum.
