I liked Steve and Linda but I agree that she didn't seem to be able to keep up with the rest too well. I think he kind of set the tone for her in the first episode when he berated her and she was very wounded by that. It was very sweet though when they both said last night how much they love each other and how money can't buy that. I would have loved to do the paraglide and the segue/segway challenges, way more than a bungee jump! Too bad that wind wasn't cooperating. I probably would have run down the mountain, too, not willing to wait. That dating couple- is English her 2nd language or something? Her boyfriend kept correcting her pronunciation or grammar all night. "AustRIA, not AustraLIA!" lol That was just one of them. When father/son couldn't open the gate, that was pretty funny. And when the father told the stunt guy "don't be scared", I thought the stunt brother was going to go off on him. He looked very offended by that jokey comment. I think the other brother is more laid back and not as snotty. It was a good show, all in all. I know I don't ever want to be clobbered by cakes. That could have been painful.

I thought Victor was the most passive/aggresive jerk I've seen in a long time! That's what I thought. lol Geez! If he thinks he's so perfect, then yesterday's hike up the mountain for no reason should have been a real eye-opener for him. The gymnastics roadblock? Oy. I'm so glad I didn't have to do that! I remember being on a balance beam before and I hated it. Ladies- we all need to work on our upper-body strength, starting now! That was embarrassing to watch, especially because I knew I would look just as lame-o! lol LOVED the vampire challenge, Woody and I looked at each and shouted VAMPIRE when the tasks were offered! lol OK, so we're just big kids. I play with dolls and he loves blood and guts. And we both liked watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. lol When in Transylvania, do what the Transylvanians would do! Phooey on the gypsys! Why did they want to keep a car carcass? That made no sense to me. It was fun to watch, though. Lots of little funny moments. And I still want to smack Victor, the Perfect. He needs to listen to his sister more. She's no dummy.

Hi Kids, Well, another season of The Amazing Race is now over. As seasons go, I don't think this one was all that great. It was very fast, seems like it just started and it's over already. Was it my imagination or did they do less with the 'back stories' this year. I don't remember any 'issues' with any team or any team member...no gay, Goth, deaf, Autistic that came into play during the race. We got lots of potty mouth and whinning but nothing to give us anything to love/hate/be drawn to, just regular people. Not sure if I missed that aspect of the show or if they always made too much of that to begin with. I'm not sure if any of you have noticed that; I may be looking for a reason that this season was just a bit bland to me. Once the KY Boys were gone I really had to figure out who was worth my interest. I was happy with the team that won mostly because I could see some redeeming qualities in both of them. No question, they were the strongest theam from the very beginning and I can only guess what they went throught while Dave was in Iraq for so long. So, good for them. The Border guys were just yuckie. I sure hope they follow through with their pledge to give the KY boys that $5,000. That was the only time during the show that I liked that team. Loved it during the last challange when the guy could not make it to the bottom of the hill. It seemed to me that he defeated himself. As for Rachel and Brandon...OMG! Brandon must be a very smart guy so I sure hope he thinks through his relationship before he marries that whinner. Spoiled Brat comes to mind. Team Vanessa was just a bit off for me. Not a very good history in their relationship so I don't think they are very good/nice people to begin with but man-o-man, she sure gave that chicken game her all. Still glad they did not win. So that's it untill next season. This season was not the best but I still love this show. Great to see so much of the world without having my to leave my own home. sooey

I thought differently, that AR set it up for Yale to win. The next-to-the-last heat was in a place where he knew the language? That penalty task certainly wasn't up to par as some I've seen in the past, as they were able to get to the next challenge before everyone else was done. So, it looked to me like AR wanted them to have it. I'd seen Jessica and Cody in BB and really did not like them there. But unless it was creative editing on AR, they were respectful of each other throughout this show and supportive. Unlike some contestants in the past who were nasty and sniping the whole way through. By the end, I was rooting for them!
