have you watched Miss Potter?

I just saw yesterday...what an adorable movie! A very easy flowing movie about the adult Beatrix Potter (Renee Zellweger).
The movie showcases how she was able to get published and her subsequent success and trials as a career minded woman in early 1900's London. (her mother is no help at all)
It cutely follows her love and interaction with her "characters".
I loved so much I ordered the DVD for my 80 year old mother. I'm sure she will enjoy as much as I did.

That sounds very nice. Where did you see it, at the theater, Netflix, or what?? Your mom probably remembers reading Peter Rabbit to you. You can serve her a cup of chamomile tea when she watches the movie!

I watched on amazon prime. It was released in 2006. I absolutely enjoyed every minute. I rarely say that about any movie.

Edna, What a beautiful song that is. I intended to see the movie but I missed it in my local theather cause I see the DVD went on sale in June. Anyway, thanks for reminding me about it. I also see the ******renade,(possible serenade) but don't continue reading the letters after that because they'll be upside down, lol. The print is in two lines, around the circle one banner above the other. It looks like the last letters of the next easily visible printing are *******MO(Y?)LS or MOYES Take a light with a very strong beam and shine it across the relief of the mark from the side at a very sharp angle to throw the indentation into sharp shadow. If you using a camera with flash, you may want to snap a shot that way. I do photographs of old gravestones for my research and this often works better than rubbing.

bengardening, I didn't realize it was titled Deathrace 2000 but that makes sense since it was suppose to be in the future. Duh. They used to show it on TV once in awhile but haven't seen it in a long time. Who was the lead actor in that movie, I keep thinking it was Peter Fonda. Oh I just thought of some other movies: anything with Will Ferrell! and his new one Land of The Lost was horrible, why I thought it would be any different I don't know. Wasted $3.99 to watch it On Demand -turned it off after only 30min. Now it's showing on the HBO channels for free.

CindyMac, I have to retract my favorable comments re: Handmaids Tale as we just finished watching the 2nd season. Without giving anything away, some character's took a bizarre explicable turn which cheapened the story. And it was torture porn without any emotional relief. To lighten up, we are watching THE QUEER EYE on Netflix. Although some of the antics are a bit MUCH, the transformations are enjoyable.

Oh, yes, I enjoyed that one so much I even bought the dvd. Have watched it several times. So well done.
