Recipes for Dairy - Week 5 December 29

No one has volunteered to start the daily recipe messages. I apologize, but I just can't do it anymore, no that I don't want to, my health and body are such an issue right now. Therefore, this week will be my last postings.

Brie Butter
Source: Perfect Entertaining (this is delicious on almost anything)

The brie should be very ripe for the smoothest spread and best flavor. 1 tablespoon of fresh herbs or 1 teaspoon of minced garlic can be added to the recipe for more flavor, or to make a variety of spreads to offer. The spread can be made up to three days in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Return to room temperature before serving.

8 ounces brie
1/4 pound butter
1/4 cup white wine

Place the ingredients together in a blender or food processor and process until well blended. Serve immediately or store tightly covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Serve at room temperature with French baguettes, apples, pears, peaches, or crackers.

Makes 6 servings.
