I would love to have both daylilies! I know I have some honeybell hosta (or did last time I looked, grasshoppers or something was eating on them! ). We flew from snowy Boston to warm Miami -- not for romance, but for school vacation week with our three kids. When we got to the hotel at almost 9 pm, we found that all the restaurants were booked, of course, so we ordered room service for dinner and ended up eating around 11 pm when we were all half asleep! My "romance" for the day -- we went out onto the balcony to admire our view, and when I turned around to walk back into the room, I walked RIGHT INTO the glass door. With my face, mostly. My top lip got cut and I was bleeding all over the place and my forehead had a big red egg. Not my finest moment. DH was so upset and ran and got me ice, was very attentive and sweet. This morning I guess it was also nice when he looked at me and said, "well, you don't look TOO bad." I look like I got some kind of injection in my upper lip.

Recipe: 3 3/4 cup white sugar 1 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1 cup hot water 4 Cups creamy peanut butter Boil syrup water and sugar to 295 degrees. Spread peanut butter onto a large sprayed cookie sheet with sides. Pour hot syrup over peanut butter and fold in quickly. Turn out and roll with a rolling pin. Cut and cool completely. It seems like a simple recipe but I will tell you I have a hard time getting it too turn out right every time. I have found that using all brand ingredients works best for me: others use generic peanut butter. Also, it helps to have two people folding from opposite ends of the pan coming together. We tried making this past weekend and all batches didn't turn out completely right except one. Hopefully you are able to get it to turn out because I almost bet this is the recipe you have been searching for. Happy Candy making!
