Adblock, it's free and it's a life changer :) Also when GardenWeb posts some annoying picture (that Japanese Beetle picture comes to mind), you can just right click on it and click 'block element', and bam you never have to see it again!

No problems with my Kindle. But this same problem has occured in the past....sounds exactly like something many of us suffered through a couple of years ago. It did turn out to be an issue with the ad itself. Clearly, it's difficult to keep up with all of the glitches that pop up on a big and complex website such as this. The best thing we can do to resolve such an issue is to bring it to the attention of the administrators right away. Contrary to what some believe, these websites are not monitored on a regular basis......GardenWeb is self-policed. Do not hesitate to report a problem like this, or spamming, bullying, proselytizing, etc. immediately. If 'they ' see something as a real problem, they will do something about it. However, if the ads that appear on the top or right of the screen offend or annoy you, then a free site might not be for you. I ignore them completely, but appreciate that some just cannot do that. I sure hope that this problem is resolved for Casey and others soon.

Agreed. I didn't get the pop-up in the corner. It covered the whole screen. And reappeared every time I clicked.
