Looking for a recipe

It was called "bark" of some kind. Chocolate and peanutbutter swirled together , maybe melted chips, ? Harden and break into pieces. Anyone know about it? Sure was good!

Tiger Candy

1/2 Cup Peanut butter-chunky-no salt
1 Lb. Almond bark
1/2 Cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 Tsps. Half & Half

In a microwave bowl, heat almond bark and the peanut butter on medium for 3-4 minutes or until melted; mix well.

Pour onto a foil-lined baking sheet coated with nonstick cooking spray; spread into a thin layer. In another microwave bowl,

heat the chocolate chips and half and half on high for about 30 seconds or until chips are soft; stir until smooth. Pour and swirl over peanut butter layer.

Freeze for 5 minutes or until set. Break into small pieces.

NOTE: You can substitute milk for the half and half and you can use smooth peanut butter if you like. Any way you make it, make plenty as it disappears quickly!

Ingredients
2 cups milk chocolate chips 2 cups reese's peanut butter chips 1 cup chopped peanuts (optional) or 1 cup cashews (optional) Directions
Line a cookie sheet with foil or parchment paper and set aside.
In 1 sauce pan, melt 1 3/4 cups chocolate chips over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth.
At the same time, melt all of the peanut butter chips in a separate saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth.
Remove the chocolate mixture from heat and add remaining chocolate chips -- stir well.
Pour chocolate mixture into prepared pan.
Remove peanut butter mixture from heat and pour over chocolate mixture in pan.
Using a fork or toothpick, make swirls in the mixture.
Refrigerate pan for approximately 1 hour until hardened.
Remove from fridge and break into pieces.
Store in a tightly sealed container.

Repeat with cream and cherries until jel ring is full Place final layer of rolettes on top. Make up jelly in the microwave jug according to the directions on the packet Pour jelly over cake, allowing it to soak through Squeeze seal down on cake and seal, expressing the air. Place in fridge for 30 mins Remove from mould and top with more cream or chocolate ganache and fresh cherries Note: you can use normal jelly jest let it cool a little before pouring over the cake so the rollettes do not become too soft and you will need to set it for 2 hours.

Here's Barefoot Contessa's recipe for lemon bread 1/2 pound (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar, divided 4 extra-large eggs, at room temperature 1/3 cup grated lemon zest (6 to 8 large lemons) 3 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon kosher salt 3/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, divided 3/4 cup buttermilk, at room temperature 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract For the glaze: nocoupons 2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted 3 1/2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice Directions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 2 (8 1/2 by 4 1/4 by 2 1/2-inch) loaf pans. You may also line the bottom with parchment paper, if desired. Cream the butter and 2 cups granulated sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. With the mixer on medium speed, add the eggs, 1 at a time, and the lemon zest. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. In another bowl, combine 1/4 cup lemon juice, the buttermilk, and vanilla. Add the flour and buttermilk mixtures alternately to the batter, beginning and ending with the flour. Divide the batter evenly between the pans, smooth the tops, and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until a cake tester comes out clean. Combine 1/2 cup granulated sugar with 1/2 cup lemon juice in a small saucepan and cook over low heat until the sugar dissolves. When the cakes are done, allow to cool for 10 minutes. Remove the cakes from the pans and set them on a rack set over a tray or sheet pan; spoon the lemon syrup over them. Allow the cakes to cool completely. For the glaze, combine the confectioners' sugar and the lemon juice in a bowl, mixing with a wire whisk until smooth. Pour over the tops of the cakes and allow the glaze to drizzle down the sides.

This is one of my favorite foods to snack on. Long time ago in Szechuan, there would be these small street vendors who sold this type of turnip salad to kids. I used to buy it all the time. For a few pennies, I could buy a handful and munch on them. When I had no money, Id search high and low in my house for pennies. Too bad these vendors arent around anymore I guess you cant really make a living selling food for a few pennies these days. Now Im going to show you how to make this turnip salad. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. Ingredients: Salted turnip 400g (1pack) Sugar 4 6 teaspoons Light soy sauce 1 tablespoon (optional) Green onions 3 4 Chili oil 3 5 teaspoons Grinded peppercorn 1 2 teaspoons Sesame oil 4 6 teaspoons 1. Rinse the turnips under water first to wash of any salt. 2. Cut the turnips into 2inch long, thin strips. After you cut it, run it through cold water one more time, and drain it well. 3. Cut the green onion into 1 inch long, thin strips. 4. In a bowl, mix sugar, soy sauce, chili oil, grinded peppercorn, and sesame oil. 5. Mix the green onions with the turnip. 6. Pour on the sauce, and mix well with the turnips, and serve. Note: After youve mixed in the sauce with the turnips, I recommend you store this dish for several hours first before eating. Why? This is because allowing it to sit for a few hours lets the flavors really soak into the turnips. Also, you can refrigerate it. I like eating it colder. I like this one a lot. CUCUMBER SALAD 1 cucumber, halved, seeded and thinly sliced Â½ cup thinly sliced onions 1/8 cup rice vinegar 2 cloves minced garlic 1 tablespoon mirin 1 tablespoon soy sauce Â½ teaspoon wasabi Chopped fresh dill Salt and Pepper to taste Toss all ingredients together. Served chilled. I've never tried this one, but I found it a long time ago and thought that it looked good. Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.02 Title: CUCUMBER & FENNEL WITH ORANGE-MINT DRESSING Categories: Salads, Appetizers, Vegetables Yield: 6 servings -----------------------------------SALAD----------------------------------- 1 Cucumber, peeled, halved, -- seeded & diced 1 sm Fennel bulb, trimmed & -- finely slivered 1 Granny Smith apple, cored, -- quartered & sliced 2 ts Lemon juice 2 tb Walnuts, chopped & toasted --------------------------------VINAIGRETTE-------------------------------- 2 tb Orange juice 2 tb Walnut oil 1 tb Fresh mint 1 tb Cilantro, chopped 1/8 ts Paprika, sweet or hot Salt & pepper SALAD: Combine salad ingredients, except walnuts, in a serving bowl & gently mix. VINAIGRETTE: In a small bowl, whisk all ingredients until emulsified. Season with salt & pepper & pour over salad. Serve immediately or marinate, covered, in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours.
