Love, love love my new pressure cooker!

So far anyway....
Friday night I made stir fried rice. Sauteed some pork, scallions and carrots.
Added my rice, water, garlic and soy. When it was done, I threw in some peas and closed it back up to steam cook the peas for a few minutes.

Yesterday I made chili. Browned my meat, added all my fixings and closed it up.

This morning I got up to feed the cats and decided to make some oatmeal. Put everything in the pot, went to take a shower and get dressed. Perfect blueberry oatmeal when I got back downstairs.

Truly a fun "set it and forget it"!

It automatically switches to a "keep warm" setting when done.

I see my evenings getting much easier...I can put stuff in the pot and go do something else.
The stainless steel pot is a breeze to clean and you do not get the baked on ring like you do with a slow cooker.

The only drawback I can see is that I cannot taste along the way to add seasonings.
But as of now, all is good and my new best friend in the kitchen is my Instant Pot.
