And The Winner Is...

Well, we don't know yet, but

In a write-in contest in our local newspaper for the all-time best Christmas/Holiday song/artist, it's down to Nat King Cole's 50-year old "The Christmas Song" & Josh Groban (who he?)'s more recent "I'll Be Home For Christmas".

It started out with 16 possibilities, picked by the newspaper itself, got whittled down to four, the two above-mentioned, plus Diane Krall's "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" (I actually like Judy Garland's rendition from "Meet Me in St. Louis") and, of course, Bing's "White Christmas"... both got handily beaten by the two semi-winners.

I'll keep you posted.
