A month or 2 ago I picked up a sad looking hibiscus from Freecycle.
It dropped some leaves which is understandable, but it is filling in nicely and I have a bloom!! It's yellow, I wish it were the bright pink or red, but it's a flower!

I picked up 2 deep red vases on Kijiji. I want to use the warm tones as accents for the livingroom. The girl threw in the greenery. I'm not sure about it, but there it is.

I call this vase "Marley" for obvious reasons LOL

A friend and I spent this last Wednesday afternoon and evening exploring and taking photographs of a local beach called Crystal Cove. As the sun was setting we headed over to a restaurant right on the beach. This is what we saw from our table.
