I just wrote down the recipe for a carrot cake & it says: 125g of butter, 125g of light cream cheese & another 50g of butter. All the other ingredients are ok but just these. Oh, and for oven temp. it is 180c. Help..:)

Thanks chloecat! It seems they are somewhat different than US, like the oven temp. would be 356 degrees, which I would bake it at 350.

We are in metric (Canada). 250 grams is 1 cup, so 125 is 1/4 cup. We don't use the metric for oven temps though, although we all do for the outside temperature. I stick to imperial recipes.

If it doesn't work out - my tried and true carrot cake recipe is the one from Better Homes & Gardens. It always turns out fantastic! I make it in a sheet cake pan, so the baking time is shortened a bit.

Um, not sure about my math but if 250 grams = 1 cup then wouldn't 125 grams = 1/2 cup? Not 1/4?
