| Long time since I've posted on here-my DH passed away in Aug. & it's been just days of being overwhelmed. BUT..I remember years ago-you posted your recipe for (I think it was called).."Pull Apart Bacon Bread". I made it shortly after that- but as I recall..it was kind of greasy. I've not had the recipe in all of these years so would you be so kind as to post it here? Plus..did I not do something correctly as for the greasy thing? Was I supposed to fry the bacon half way, all the way, or...?? I'd like to make it for Thanksgiving morning gathering at my neighbor's home.
Have a nice, Blessed Thanksgiving! |

| sharon, I can't remember the bacon bread but I did a search and basically all the recipes are the same. I recommend cooking the bacon until crisp and drain thoroughly. And the onions and pepper cooking them in oil, I'd drain them thoroughly on a paper towel. This is the bacon pull apart bread: 3/4 cup chopped onion Preparation |

Roll in butter, then cinnamon-sugar mixture. Arrange in greased Bundt pan or Jello mold. Bake 20 minutes at 350F. Unmold onto plate after cooling 5 minutes. delicious served warm |

|
| Here's the recipe I had: Pull Apart Bacon Bread Time 15-20 minutes Ingredients 12 slices of Bacon, diced How to make it In a skillet, cook bacon over medium heat for 5 minutes or until partially cooked. Arrange pieces in a 9 x5 inch square on a greased baking sheet, layering as needed. *** Sharon, my sincerest condolences on your loss. |

| If I remember correctly, I think when I made this I made a note to myself to cook the bacon longer the first time. |
|
| angelaid, although yours sounds good, don't think I'd care for the ranch. Not my cup of tea. The one with the biscuits is a good one, for me, that is. |
|
| (((Sharon))), I hope you are doing okay. The "firsts" are the hardest and the holidays can be lonely. Didn't you and DH used to be really creative with your Halloween costumes? I really enjoyed reading about them. At least I'm pretty sure that was you. |
