Quite a long time ago we had an exchange student from Holland. Peter ate and ate and ate... he must have had hollow legs... as it didn't look like he gained an ounce. :)

Our 3 sons were teenagers at the same time. Oh! The grocery bills! (And they slept a lot too. ;-)

I never realized just how much my daughter ate until she went off to college. And she's never been overweight. Ahh--I vaguely remember the day when I could eat like that, too!

They also tend to be 'vampires' -- would sleep all day and only stir by night if they could. Some high schools have adapted their hours to start later and run longer.
