I just finished another quilt..... 2 pics

| If you're interested- it's a Wonky Log Cabin quilt and I worked off the backing fabric for the blocks.
And here's the back...
It's called "Hooters!" because there is an owl in the center of all the blocks, except the bottom left, that's a pussycat face.
I dunno, it might be a little dull, what do you think? lol

| It's fabulous! You must have had fun making it. Did you quilt it yourself? I keep seeing quilts that were given to someone else to machine-quilt. It must be a specialty all by itself. Anyway, this one is great--as usual! |

There's never a boring craft coming from your fingers flamingo. I'd like to see the back better. The fabric has lots of little squares right?
I really like it because it's how I think.Even my dishes come in all colors because I like them all. Luckily fiesta has lots of colors to satisfy. Do you have a place for your beautiful quilt? |

| Thanks, everybody. The sashing is actually a dark chocolate brown and it coordinates with the backing fabric which is by Amy Schimler. Vique, here's a link to the quilt-along. If you'll click on QuiltDad's link, it'll take you to his blog where he posted all the instructions for making wonky log cabins. Everyone's came out differently because everyone used different fabrics. I'm keeping this puppy, no drawing, ha! Funny, bRAT Kat! Yes, I machine quilted it myself, it took me a long time and it was hard to do because of the style I used, long swoopy lines with some curves thrown in. Toni, click on one of the photos and then browse my photostream in the quilt along set and you'll see the backing fabric closer up. Thanks so much for admiring the Hooters! quilt, everyone! | Thanks, again. I'm getting the big head! lol Nosey Parker seems to like it, she was all over it last night! 
Her feet are grubby from running around out in the grass. And her tummy is shaved from her surgery, from which she is all healed up. I know, plastic bags are dangerous, but she loves them and I think she could shred her way out of one if need be. She steals them out of the bag-bag and carries them around. If we rattle one, she'll come running to see if that bag is talking to her! |

| Thanks, ladies! Well, since you ask, Vique.... :) I cannot do anything with yarn, can't knit, can't crochet. Tried, failed. Miserably! lol Don't make clothes, don't make drapes, don't make a lot of things, I really don't like working with big pieces of fabric, honest! Have fun making some wonky stuff! And feel free to join in the quilt-along, you can join now and still make #1, 2 or 3, if you want! And post photos of them, too! |

| Thanks again! I actually won Quilt of the Week at one of the Flickr groups. Fabric, Patchwork and Quilting, to be exact. That's pretty flattering, I must say, along with all the compliments here. I had some stiff competition, too, and I would have voted for hers, if it was up for a vote. I don't know how they pick a winner, I should ask. |

| I have no idea, Happytime, I couldn't begin to count. Some days I was getting up at 3 or 4 to get some good sewing in, I made about 25 of the blocks, rejected 5 of them in the end. Each block was sashed brown as I went, so putting the actual finished blocks together didn't take too long. Then I had to make and attach that skinny border and then the bigger border. Square it all up. Make the quilt backing, make the letters, piece the back, make the sandwich, pin baste it all together, and then actually quilt it on the machine. I started the quilt in mid Sept, and I was gone for 2 weeks during that time. So I didn't work on much else and I got it done in the first week in Nov. So about a month, or 5 weeks, I guess. Thanks for all the lovely compliments! |

| I know I'm coming in late here, but I decided what to say before reading all the others. Now I feel repititious by say "Your quilt is GORGEOUS!" Even though I think it is a little subdued for your personality! |
