| Very odd. Twins? Hard to believe they would die on the same day, but it could happen, especially if it was an accident. They would only have been 11. Maybe they were conjoined twins! |

| Most likely twins, yes. I'm thinking they either died in an accident or contracted the same illness. |

| illness is one reason families had so many children, to carry on the family name, farms, ect..one of my great great greats had 10? 2 wives... |

| A major illiness could have taken both on the same day. Diptheria was a deaded disease of that time along with others. Food poisoning could do the same. Accidental death could do the same. Travel by horses was unreliable. A horse is a creature of instinct and acts accordingly. Getting kicked by a horse or injuried because a horse bolted did occur. |
