Pie Dough Question

Hello Bakers,

I dread making pie crust because I'm not good at it and always worry about over-mixing. I'm using Crisco this time and had it in the freezer last night. I took it out too soon so it was fairly soft by the time I used it just now. I thought (per neighbor's advice) I could pulse it in the food processor but I'm afraid I've overdone it.
I haven't added anything else yet, only dry ingredients and the Crisco. Have I ruined it yet? I don't mind wasting the mess and starting over, but I can't figure out whether crust can be ruined before the wet ingredients are added.
