Holey Sox, Marion!! They are all over the place on EBay! I sure wish I would have seen it coming, I would have bought up a bunch. Kate, I do have an extra Chef set, but since we are broke for Christmas, I was planning to send to my good friend in StLou. I bought her the Pilgrims a few years ago and she has been so happy with them. They may have them again since they aren't dated. I'll keep my eyes open for them. Here they are...along with the "Snow People" and "Mr and Mrs Santa". Sorry it's blurry. My camera does not take clear artificial light photos...but you get the idea. From Misc. Stuff Boy, this makes me love my salt n peppers even more. I think I have a collection, now! lol Dennis's daughter sent me trout shakers...1/2 the fish front diving in and the back 1/2 flipping out. I will have to be on the lookout for unique shakers in my travels from now on.

Hi, What I would suggest you first contact your local Better Business Bureau and file a complaint regarding your dealings with this Company. Then check with your State and local Department of consumer protection. Should your DCP have a fraud or fraudulent contracter division file again your complaint with them, and you will most likely have some type of positive action, a total refund or your Island I don't know where your located, but if a person or company accepts payment for an item or service, and does not make any attempt to deliver, becomes a larceny which is a criminal proceeding. bob_cville, I'm happy to post the recipe. It came from the New York Times in 2009. Fiery Sweet Potatoes Time: About 2 hours 5 pounds sweet potatoes 1 cup coconut milk 1 tablespoon Thai red curry paste 1/2 cup dark brown sugar 4 tablespoons unsalted butter 1 teaspoon salt. 1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Bake potatoes on a baking sheet until very soft, about 1 hour. When cool enough to handle, peel and mash. 2. In a small saucepan, heat coconut milk with curry paste over low heat. Mix coconut milk mixture, half the sugar, half the butter, and salt into potatoes. Keep warm until ready to serve, or cover and refrigerate up to two days. 3. At least 30 minutes before serving, heat oven to 425 degrees. Put potatoes in a baking dish, cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover potatoes, dot with remaining butter and sugar and broil until brown and crusty on top, checking often to prevent scorching. Yield: 10 to 12 servings. Notes: I've made this, the full 5lbs, following the recipe up through step 2. I've frozen it in portions at this stage. If I'm serving it to guests, I'll finish it with the butter and brown sugar because it makes a prettier presentation. If it's just for DH and me, I skip this. It's good enough as is. Cheryl

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I am on my lunch break at work, and although I would much rather be at home with my family, I am also very thankful to have a job. As far as a literary Thanksgiving, I can't think of this holiday without recalling the short story written by Truman Capote called "A Thanksgiving Visitor." The story shares some of Capote's childhood experiences growing up very poor in the deep south while living with his shirtail relatives who were much, much older than Capote. Capote, who is called 'Buddy' by his relatives, is the special favorite of one of his relatives, known as Miss Sook. The Thanksgiving visitor is about a youngster who is from a family known to be trouble makers,the Henderson's. Odd Henderson has it in for Buddy, but accepts an invitation to Thanksgiving dinner from Miss Sook. While this youngster is at the house for the meal, an article of great sentimental value goes missing from Miss Sook's 'treasure box' I won't tell anything more about the story for fear of spoiling it. It is a sad, beautiful and funny tale, definitely worth the reading.
