Sandie FL needs the Prayer Warriors please.

Our dear Sandie can't get on the KT these days so she has asked me to post this for her. Wish I knew how to help her more, but this is the least I can do. Love and blessings for Jim and Sandie.

Hi Lana,

I am still unable to get on the KT. My favorites have gone missing and when I type the KT into Search it just sits there and will not let me in.

I really do need the Prayer Warriors. Jim is not doing well. He could not tolerate the Chemo that they put him on. He is really weak,not eating,barely drinking.We have been at the Cancer Center everyday this week for a fluid infusion. He will have another PET Scan next week and will also have a Port put in,before they can try a third treatment. He also fell Saturday night and banged up his head and cut the palm of his hand. He is on Cumadin so he bleeds quite a lot. If you could put this on the KT for me, I would really appreciate it so much. Hope all is well with you. TIA

Heather, I thought of doing that, but I'm getting the impression she has more problems. I will go ahead and send the link and see if that will help her. Thanks.

Sending prayers for you both! Sharon, I'm sure you already know, but just in case... Be very careful what cleaning products you use around your DH in his condition. The scents/strong odors from them may contribute to his breathing problem. I am sure that the odor from the animal probably brought a lot of it on for him. And definitely don't use incense to cover the smell. In two seconds flat, he won't be able to breath at all. Incense is poisonous, acording to my dr., for anyone who has any type of breathing problem. We had to call the ambulance in church one Sunday durning Lent (Catholic Church) for an elderly lady. She got up to leave so she could get fresh air, and only made it two steps to the isle before passing out. Tami

I still have Jim on my daily prayer list, and often wish I had an update on how he's doing. I will continue to pray for them both.
I wish she could get on the KT and see all the responses.

I'm not clear on what the doctors hope to accomplish with more tests and treatments. I'm very sorry to read this -- more pain and more suffering for Jim and family.

I'm especially sensitive to this. Her doctors kept my mother 'alive' with repeated blood transfusions -- each one causing her to suffer greater reactions. There was no way to reverse her leukemia, and they knew it.

You all are so sweet and caring. I've sent Sandie copies of your replies and I know she appreciates all of you, your thoughts and prayers.

When I hear from her again, I will let you know if she's still unable to access the forum herself.

I know what they are going thru with the cancer treatments. I too spent many days/hours in the cancer center with DH before he passed away. But he had the port put in as soon as he was diagnosed with this. He also had diabetes and heart problems and lung problems. My prayers are with Jim, family and medical staff. Has she typed in Garden Web? instead of KT and there is a way to get the favorites back--maybe Raven can help. I have a program to save them if they are lost. Can't think of title but begins with X.
