| The roof has a sort of "glow" to it. You can see the slabs of sandstone lying in the foreground that have fallen from the roof. This dwelling is perched on the side of a canyon cliff. The swirling patterns in the rocks hold your feet securely to the swicthback ascent. A few cairns mark the foot path. It's not a well known site. (didn't see anyone all day and the sign-in book showed an entry the prior month) Grinding stones found at the site, left behind by their previous owners.

| Casey, I absolutely love that perfect little kitty...and I am not a cat lover. Love the canyon dwelling too! Can't imagine what life would have been like way back then. Not too sure about that snow...guess as long as it isn't in my backyard, I can love it too. |
