I made a cheesecake, pressed finely chopped walnuts onto the sides, cherry pie filling and whipped cream on top....yes, I ate a piece for breakfast...:0)


Cheesecake chilled overnight for serving after dinner.

My DH's best friend, he died a year ago yesterday. Used to call DH 3-4 times a day when they were working on car projects. We really miss him. RIP Tom

The view from a hike I did last Saturday. It was much steeper than it looks. began the hike near the top of the photo right next to the road you see. It was about a mile and a half just getting to the trailhead for this particular trail.

It looks like I'm carrying a rifle but that pole you see in the shadow next to my head is really my hiking stick. I was afraid if I put it on the ground I'd never be able to bend to pick it up. lol
