| I can't get to the polls until this afternoon, but DH and I will do it. President Obama is a lock, but there are other state and federal contests congressional contests -- and a couple of judges who need be voted OUT. The rug men came yesterday, taking all our Orientls to be washed. Phew! The dust! Clean rugs to come back next Monday. A cleaning service is here today. (My first stab at 'hired help' in a long time.) They're to do the 'usual' plus wash all our floors (hardwood and tile), wash baseboards, dust down the walls, polish some silver. I have no idea of what to actually expect by the end of the day -- aside from a big bill! I've done three loads of wash -- more throw rugs to go. Our Westie is at the groomer for a much needed wash and trim after recuperating from his minor surgery (and the 'cone'). DH is at a lecture at his university all morning. |

| I make a list every day...my second job on the list, which I am just getting ready to go out and do is clean cages...I only have 4 possum cages, so it won't take long. I also plan to work outside and clean the bedroom. |

| shower (I broke my foot a couple of weeks ago and haven't been able to shower until today when I got the stitches out. Go to Lowe's and get some accessories for my new sewing room. Attend the women's basketball game tonight at ISU. |
