I have so much respect for her! She doesn't give up. On tonight's show she had a task which was really hard to do one-handed. She didn't whine, cry, or get overly frustrated. She just figured out a unique strategy and got it done. You go, girl!!

She is amazing, I hope they win! She has not complained about any task. She is an awesome role model for girls and anyone with a missing limb. She finds a way to get it done.

LOL I don't think the ugly Americans are the Kentucky team. The have been very respectful and thankful for any help they have asked for. I can understand them just fine! I think they are having a ball and really appreciating the trip. I couldn't believe it when he whistled at the woman walking by the taxi. That took me by surprise! LOL I, too, wanted to shove a salami down her throat. And I don't think it has been NEAR as awful as some years. I remember seasons where all but one or two teams bickered the whole trip. Remember the one guy who people thought might be abusing his wife? I can't remember their names, but it was awful. I have heard that those remote control helicopters are very hard to control. It cracked me up when Mr. Pilot thought it might actually be a REAL copter! lol Very touching to split the money with the one contestant from Kentucky. He said that his daughter is on quite a few prescriptions for respiratory problems.

I thought it was HILARIOUS! All that dye and water...what a HOOT! I laughed out loud! Terrance is something to see. What a baby! What will he think when he sees himself on T.V.? What will Sarah think of him? But, he did an OK job with the dye/paint challange. The one who did the very best on that challange was the sister, Star(?). She ran right thorugh all the mess, got up the ladder, found the right clue envelope, got down, they were back in the taxi in no time. I was happy to see Ken and Tina come back so well. I did not like them at all last week but last night, they pulled it off with hard work and some luck, good for them. Once again the girls did not read the directions! They did it to themselves and I was happy to see them get the boot. Those frat boys...what a couple of dim bulbs! How are they still in the game? Why is this season going so fast...we are getting down to the final few weeks! Last night was great and I hope next week is just as good. sooey

I thought it was a great episode. I agree the 2nd place finisher female was totally ridiculous. Maybe she should look up "race" in the dictionary. lol I loved how the blondes named their chicken "Phil". That was funny. And I liked the new U-turn feature. At least someone isn't afraid of being disliked for playing the game. And now it's out of the way for the rest of the race. Otherwise, I don't like the blondes at all, they are whiny and rude and too superior for no apparent reason. I didn't like the Goth team at all at first, but I'm finding them to be a little less annoying and much more pleasant and empathetic than some of the others. I still don't like prissy guys, though. lol How come the people in that area are so poor if there is so much gold in the dirt? Was that gold seeded? Or does the government control the gold/land? I love footraces to the mat! May the fastest team win.

I was so glad to see her do that task. At first I thought "Are you crazy?" But she had me in awe by the time she finished the task.

I think she is wonderful and awesome! She is such a wonderful role model for young women.

I will not miss that other team at all~~~they fought and were mean to each other esp the mom;(

Reading her bio on the show's site, she seems to make her living by finding situations where people can feel sorry for her. Consistent with that, I'm sure her disability was a big factor why she was chosen by the show.

It's a deliberate sympathy ploy, I think there are better role models for youngsters than professional surfers.

I admire anyone who overcomes adversity and is wise enough to position herself to be the possible recipient of a million dollars, good for her and I'd love to see her win. Of course her story is part of the reason she was chosen which is no different the the reasons others were chosen, you don't want to watch dull people. Nothing wrong with her being there or being admired. Don't be stingy with your humanity Snidely, it's not a good trait.

I know a guy who I guess would be called a tri-plegic. He has limited use of one arm and a few fingers only, no use of legs or the other arm. In his motorized chair, he looks a bit like Stephen Hawking although he speaks just fine. He drives himself where he needs to go with a lift van that has driving controls adapted to what he can do.

He's not self-conscious at all. He's been very successful in a demanding career. He never asks for help or special accommodation that I've ever seen, he just gets on with his life as he can. He has accomplishments and has opened doors despite his limitations, not because of them.

Him, I admire. This young lady, not so much.
