I was a little over a year old so no memories here. I have to disagree with you Ellie, at least here in our school. My exchange student was struggling with our history last trimester. Last year, our German exchange student was in tears because her history teacher told the class that the Nazis were inhuman because of what they did during WWII. I didn't find out until later when her teacher called me to see if she was ok. I was puzzled because he didn't explain why she wouldn't be. When I asked her about it after she got home, that's when she told me she was ashamed of what the Germans did and thought everyone would think she was just like the Nazis. I'm reading a book by Stephen King about JFKs assassination. It's fiction, of course, but it's very interesting and I'm now wanting to Google Lee Harvey Oswald and his wife's name to see if some of the things King has written are actually true. I also want to know what happened to his wife...did she stay in the U.S.? What about their kids? I also didn't know that he attempted to kill some politician before he shot the president...or is that King's story?

This is off the top of my head because I don't see many movies but I remember going to see "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" with my first husband when he was alive. He laughed his head off. I'm not so hot on slapstick. From the cast list, there's a lot of comedians on there, so that's my guess.

I have mixed emotions about this one. I don't feel badly for him at all and I hope he gets the maxium allowed. As for it being an illness, the behavior is so repulsive that it's hard to think of it as such if it is. As for Huma, I understand her wanting to preserve her marriage, but to me there are certain things that are instant deal breakers and being a pedophile is one of them, especially when you have kids. I don't get her reasons for staying because IMO, he should not be around children, including his own. Even if he were to never abuse his own child, he still had the baby right there next to him while he did his "thing". It's just mind boggling.
