How I can save or e-mail an Adobe Flash Player video?

My DD has posted some of my GS on Face Book but I don't know how to save them. My DH wants me to e-mail them to his work computer.

My grandson has one of his new band that is on YouTube that they did to raise money for the Cancer Alliance. I know how to send that but know nothing about the Adobe videos.

Plus I want to save them for myself.

The easiest way is to copy and cut the url from the photo and then paste it into the email.

You can also do this:
If you just want the picture on your computer, follow these steps:
-Right click on the picture
-From the menu that pops up choose "Save image as..."
-A window titles Save Image pops up. Navigate through to where you'd like the photo to go. (Desktop is often best , just for the fact that the photo is easy to find once copied to your computer. From there you can just click and drag to the folder you want it in.) Also rename the photo at this time if you'd like.
-Click Save.

To email the photo, you should see somewhere on your email page a place where you can add a file to send. Choose to do that, then in the window that comes up choose the photo from your desktop.

You have to be patient when it comes to Flash updates. They sometimes take an unusual amount of time to configure. As an alternative you could save the download to your system, close all open windows including browsers, and then install from the stored location. Indeed there is a way. When the image you want is onscreen simply tap the 'Print Screen' (PRN SCRN sometimes) button. Now open your photo editing program, click Edit, click Paste and you have the full screen visible. On some programs you can right click and paste the image, each has their own peculiarity. Now use your resizing or crop tool to remove the bits you do now want then save the image. If I am saving for wallpaper I always elect to save as bitmap (.bmp) because it is a higher quality image than using .jpg There are free screen capture programs out there that will catch a specific frame but I find that is as easy as anything and I do not need to remember how to work another program.

Going back to my tech support days, you need to clear your flash cache, if you are on a page containing flash you can right click on it and get into your flash control panel that way, there might even be a control panel for it settings>control panels, lastly if I recall somewhere on the adobe flash download page I think on the left there is some sort of settings option there, click on it and it'll have a bunch of tabs. You probably want to clear the cache out and see if that helps. You could also try add/remove programs, uninstall it, reinstall/reboot. Have you edited your registry before? Did you back it up first, to a separate disk? You can do very bad things messing with your registry if something goes wrong.

Thanks for the responses and help. I am not using antivirus and removed the the antivirus before my Adobe problems. I checked/installed updates to Windows and IE. I went to Adobe.com and installed/reinstalled. This morning the issues seem partly fixed. When I am on a web page, such as Yahoo, whether in IE or FF, some of the boxes display and some don't. If I go to a web page page, like Yahoo's tech page, that has mostly boxes that have videos in them, I see the text in the boxes but they are otherwise blank. If I click on the box a video then starts playing. I know this isn't how it's supposed to work, but it's better than it was yesterday. Maybe if I wait till the next Adobe or Windows update it will sort itself out? Thanks for the suggestions. If you think of anything please let me know. I think I will put this laptop away for a week or two and use my Win7 laptop instead. I'll check on updates the next time I get it out and hope for the best.

you do not mention what browser you use? if you use firefox there is a good add on that will allow you to do that easily.

ravencajun,I'm going to try your advice. I'll try it tomorrow. That sounds like what I need. I use Mozilla Firefox. My DD tried to send it to my e.mail today from her phone but could only send it in 3 parts and it's not that long.
