Even people who take precautions probably spread invisible contaminants far more than they realize. It's really hard, especially if it's not something you do all the time. All it takes is one second of not paying attention (nose itches, dropped something and need to pick it up, etc.) to spread, and as imperfect humans, it's impossible to 100% prevent if these workers are in contact with the virus.

I've read about some professions that regularly have drills using liquids as the contaminate, and at the end of the drill when it's declared "clean," a black light shows that the contaminate is *everywhere.* Even trained, careful people can spread it rather easily.
