Never before did I ever fry a pork chop for breakfast. But did today. Tasty. Now it was time to start the usual loads of weekend laundry. Automatic washers are cool, turn a knob and get clean clothes. Decided to cut the Avocado and spread it on Rye toast. Tasty again. Looked up how to prop the seed in water, so will be watching to see if that gets roots(?) Did the on line stuff checking mail and various groups. More coffee. Cut a slab of Liverwurst, on Rye. Tasty. Spotted one apple, so baked that in the micro. Tasty, with Maple Syrup. Had time, but did not start supper this morning. The blue sky and meter reading of 70 said "Get Outside"!! Did the first leaf cleanup with the blower. Had to blow 3 times with the piles and Munster look., so took longer than expected. Lots more waiting in the trees yet. Cut down the Hibiscus stalks and filled a can. Picked some tomatoes. Dragged out the shop vac, about time to remove all that beach sand from the car. Quick cleaned the window & dash of dust. Started a major demo project that has been on hold since Sept, too dang cold outside. Worked on that for 3 hr, half done. Maybe tomorrow? Bought supplies, but it's no big deal if it doesn't get done til next Spring. The blue sky was now too tempting, so shut down chores, loaded up some beer and hit the beach. A long overdue and perfect October Happy Hour. The break was welcome to see lots of smiling people at the best spot in town. Well, getting late, but still had time to get home and quick cook a nice beef roast in the pressure cooker. Yum, so tender and delicious. And a variety of easy meals for days to come. Can't decide what's for desert yet. But it better be fast, that comfy chair might decide to prompt some zzzzzzzzzzzz's.
