Asking For Prayers For Morgan

Got this email today asking for prayers for this little girl. I thought I'd post it here to get the powerful prayers of the good folks at the KT.

Dear Friends,

A dear friend of mine is asking for prayer for her niece. She is 9 years old, and was air lifted to Albany Med yesterday, after being run over by a car. She has broken legs, a crushed lung, broken clavicle, broken nose and pelvis, She is on a vent. Her name is Morgan, she plays piano and violin. She loves to wear crowns and plays dress up. She is super smart and has the most awesome smile ever.

Please fwd this request to anyone who you think would offer prayer.

Could not stand pain any longer and had my husbands surgeon perform the surgery on Feb 27; pain from hip and leg is gone, of course I have wound pain and when I do physical therapy it hurts; Thank You all for praying for me I can say I am feeling so much better. Mellisa is at home. The surgery went well. She was in a lot of pain and had a difficult time breathing. They did keep her on oxygen until, I think it was Saturday. They also left the drainage tube in until Saturday, and altogether (surgery and post op) about 1000 cc of fluid was drained. Lab was done and no infection or bacteria found. She was discharged yesterday, and her husband and two of the kids (teen age daughter and step daughter) made the trip home with her. Thank you so much for all the prayers and good wishes. They help more than anything! Next hurdle is to find out if this will be successful long term.

It seems like God always answers when I pray for others, not so much when I ask for myself. KT prayers helped my cousin Joyce when she fell and broke her hip, then had a heart attack the next day. Also helped her sister Judy when she had a heart blockage and needed surgery on December 24 a couple years ago.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Even though I am not religious, there is NO need to apologize! And, don't feel bad, turning here for support. We are a kind bunch. If you need to talk or vent privately, you know how to contact me. I may take a bit to reply (work overload), but I will respond! Take care of yourself!

Adding Morgan and her friends and family to my Prayer list.When I go to Church tomorrow,I will put her on the Prayer List there.

How terrifying for the little girl, and for all of her loved ones.

Youngsters often recover faster than older people, and I pray that is the case for (((Morgan))).
