Cher has had so much plastic surgery that when she speaks, parts of her face don't move. I was a big fan of her and Sonny when my aunt worked for them and took care of Chastity when she was a toddler. I got to visit my aunt and chat with Sonny & Cher a couple of times. Now I think she just looks ridiculous with a 30 year old face. I guess that is how she makes her money.

I think he needs to cool it with the open-mouthed smile -- a fly is gonna fly in! I don't know if you've read the article in People about him, but for someone to rebound from depression and suicidal thoughts in just the 2 and a half weeks he spent helping needy street people, that's seems to be quite a speedy rebound, but maybe there were other tools at work there. The timing of the People article -- is it just his PR machine hitting full speed, or that of DWTS? I enjoy watching "Shark Tank," but now I'm just getting a weird feeling about him -- like he's irresistably drawn to being in the public eye in any way. Now: Over to the broader show -- did any of you feel the dances were just a bit too short? Every time I thought a pair was really dancing beautifully, suddenly they stopped in some lovely position and they were done! And: Which celebrity dancer do you think ought to have been in the bottom this week? I would put Patti on the list. She's doing more strutting (and that bosom thing!) than dancing, IMHO.

Oh, I hoped the people on here who were skeptical about the program would find it to be entertaining and skip tPaula and Gary and notice some of the dancers who have never danced before but have a real gift. I'm learning new names too. I can't dance well at all and I give credit to those who try. I know I wouldn't be that brave. There are challenges in the bunch but I think it's a beautiful show with a healthy message and competition. The professional traing them are brilliant in playing to their strengths. I was touched by the jockey who is trying so hard to dance and admitted that he has a short-term memory because of all the tribulations of his profession. He was interesting and has a good attitude. The staging in the customs along with the sets must cost the show a lot of money.

All athletes and a very short season. Wonder why? Loved Adam Rippon in the Olympics and I remember Johnny Damon from his stint with the Red Sox. Everyone knows Kareem Abdul-Jabbar & Tonya Harding.
