Darn diabetes makes it a very infrequent addition to our diet. Good thing it freezes pretty well, since I usually freeze at least half the cake, sometimes 3/4. Robin, you did good to get your Sis to do that job. Grass that long is not for the beginner. Smiles. Even starting mowers that have been sitting since last season can be a pain and require a new spark plug at the least. LOL Lilo, Mowses. Love it. I love my lawn tractor. I call it riding the grass. It's my favorite. I often have people offer to do that for me. NOOOO. Use the push mower for the hill, weed, anything but ride MY grass. Even when I'm so crippled up I can barely get to the garage, that's my reward for making it out there. Krista, I have changed a radiator. Admittedly a long time ago. Not super hard but get ready for some swearing since it's in such a tight place it's usually hard to get at the bolts and such. Also, it depends on what else is hooked to it, like the water pump and such, how hard it is to get out... and in. I bought a rebuilt one so saved a lot of money by doing it myself. Then again, I've changed the heads on a car. That requires you to have a working torque wrench. Those darn bolts can be torqued right off. LOL..The guys at the parts store didn't believe me. Said they're hardened steel. OOpps.. I'm not big on shelled things like oyster, mussels, clams. Think I've only tried clams raw once. I'm told I prepare them all quite well though. I've never eaten sushi. Never rode a unicycle. Wink. Never been our of the contiguous USA. Never had a professional manicure or pedicure, nor hair dye.

It has some good points to it as well with forest seed dispersal and economic uses in Canada. Don't all squirrels have similar opportunistic eating of eggs and young birds? It is a native squirrel and one would think it balances out in the end with predation on others. I found a young Robin last spring that had fallen out of it's nest for lack of room and a Eastern Grey squirrel was going after it. I put it back in the nest, but had I not been there I'm pretty sure the squirrel would have killed it. That happens in nature all the time - people don't like to see it or may get too focused on other species they prefer more, etc. I'm not sure if calling it a 'terrorist' is entirely fair unless one cannot stand any small bird being eaten that they have become attached to personally. Awww Deb, I feel for you. You did the right thing talking to the "big boss" You don't have to take any crap from anyone and just because Larry helped you get the job shouldn't matter in the least so don't let that bother you. If they didn't need help in that office they wouldn't have hired you. Take pride in the fact that the boss said you are being complimented on your good work. I worked in one of the bank branches on a 6 month contract. One of the tellers that had worked there for a long time took a disliking to me. I was trained on how to do the job the right way but the tellers at this branch did things "the way they always did them" which wasn't the way I learned them. Everytime I asked this teller a question she would answer me then turn her back and hum "if she only had a brain" from the Wizard of Oz. What a Btch. I took it for a couple of months then got her in trouble for not following proper bank procedures - the way I learned them. She wanted me to cash a cheque for someone because "they always did it" I didn't want to do it so I went to the Manager and after further checking found the transaction was fraudulent. I was in the right and that really PO that chick off. LOL She hated me even more after that because doing the job the right way meant asking questions of her customers and not automatically doing every transaction because "they always did it". Everyday of that contract I hated going into work at that branch. I loved working at all the other branches I worked at. After my last contract was up with another branch I was offered another contract to go back to that branch and I refused if that Btch was still there. I never renewed my contract with the bank. I didn't need the negativety. I'm sorry Deb you have been under so much stress from your job. Just do your work as best as you can and at the end of the day leave the job at the door.
