A friend called and said they had about 3/4 bushel of Chesapeake crabs if I wanted them....ummmm YES!!!

So I spent about 2 hours yesterday picking meat out.

Does anybody have a great crabcake recipe?
Or crab imperial?

Omg I am so jealous!
I have a fabulous seafood casserole recipe that can be used for just crab or a mixture of crab and other seafood.
It is on the computer, I am on my phone, if you are interested just let me know.

Again so jealous!

Lucky you!

I had my first taste of ceviche, today. Gal from my water class is an avid diver, and the fish she served was freshly caught this weekend from the Gulf.

Salgal, that is a true friend. I have some recipes, but I haven't tried them, so I won't post 'em.

RC, I would love to see that recipe.
If its called a casserole, I'm in!

I don't have a favorite recipe but I made Paula Deen's last time I made them, and I was less than impressed with it. Tasted more like salmon patties, so I wouldn't suggest that one.

Crab spoils quickly so use it up.
I love crab dip.

My favorite way to eat crab is in gumbo or drizzled with butter and lemon. My husband shrimped for 45 years. We also cooked them on the grill....cleaned them and basted them with Italian dressing with chopped garlic and Tony Chachere's seasoning mixed in.
