Do you have any suggestions for a name for a 4 person bowling team? We joined a league that has 20 teams. Most of them have names. We have tried using clever combinations of our names, intials, etc. but it can't be done with what we have. Any suggestions?

Chesapeake no longer has a gardening coordinator . They both were laid off three or four years ago. The stockholders did not think that was a prudent use of revenue. Which really, I'm OK with that. They are really struggling now with low oil and nat gas prices, bankruptcy is a real possibility if commodity prices do not improve in the next year. Thankfully, most experts think that will happen. But coodinators aren't really necessary, these gardens could be maintained easily as long as Chesapeake supplies them with water. Plenty of employees would volunteer to take care of them.

Nate's such a great kid. I'm glad he's doing well. I hope he will soon be able to get off the steroids completely. I'm going to the web site to leave a donation Leslie. Back in the 1970s my sister used to be an entertainer over there. She did some of the traditional dances and she did some with a baton that had fire at both ends.

"I liked Jimmy Johnson's strategy of telling everyone to keep him around because no one will give him the votes at the end. I think only a few saw through it." A few "saw through it," according to your perspective, but I don't think he was trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes. Jimmy Johnson is a HUGE fan of the show -- he has watched every minute of every episode since the very first season. He tried out for the show once before, and was a finalist to be on, but when he went for the mandatory physical exam, the doctors found a problem with his heart. He had surgery (he says that Survivor literally saved his life), is in better physical shape, and is now on the show. I, for one, truly believe that he is there because he loves the show and wants the experience of being on it. I don't think he's there for the money at all.

"Alley-cats" is taken, "here-4-the beer", is taken, LOL. etc.

I have even googled a request, but don't get much.

HA! good.. those are possibilites. I will pass them along to the other couple. We are retired folks (over 58). Not sophisticated enough for shirts or colors. Just a group of 40 gals and guys who want to bowl weekly.
Thanks for any ideas.

I like the "bowling stones". One team is named the "Fab-Four." (Beatles)

Each team has a number, and ours is 13! We may go with "Lucky 13". Not very clever, but the guys like it. There is no time limit to come up with a name. During todays game, the other gal and I were listening to what people were saying, and the most often used phrase was......"you were robbed!"(pins wobbled, knocked, but wouldn't go down, etc.)

How about "pin-knockers"? LOL
