I love her. She doesn't take anything off of anyone and doesn't have to. They've asked her to arbitrate for them and her decision is binding. That's how it works. In the real world too. You settle for what someone else can decide when you go to arbitration. This is not mediation. I almost always agree with her ruling. I think fair is all you can ask for in a legal situation. What I can't stand are the people who come on her show and say, it was a gift. It's almost never a gift. Uh no, bail is not a gift. When they say, I never asked to be bailed out. BS! You did too. Or they don't want to pay it back because they deem the person to have treated them too poorly to have "earned" back the loan they gave. That isn't fair or right. How immoral! I love that she unleashes on those scum. She's doing what I wish someone would've done for me once or twice. That's ok, my judge did something similar. And it was nice to have the law on my side. Which is all she does, level the playing field against scum.

Used to watch CourtTV all day--but Comcast removed it from our line-up. So yes, I watch the judge shows--Mathis, Peoples Court, Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown, Janine Pirro. I love law, court--can't get enough of it. Am seriously considering going back to school to become a paralegal, or trying to get a job in the county court system.

Also because fence trees lack any competition on either side of yards, their low limbs grow well into each neighbors yard. Unfortunately worst problem is since young trees never get "Structurally pruned" for one main trunk, like in nursery until sold. Wild trees produce Multiple poorly attached stems which inevitably fail in future. And become issues. California is a state with extreme private tree guidelines. Requiring professional arborist to make official report on trees condition. Multiple trunk trees have become such a safety issue, that many insurance companies require property owners to either "Cable limbs together" of remove tree entirely before insuring. Because of ordinances here in Chicago area, neighbor has right to have next doors tree pruned all the way back to line. Roots also. Then some trees end up looking like a townhouse when 1/2 owner installs different color roof or paint job. One side harshly pruned, and other still natural. Everyone needs to know that each individual situation is different. Many times protecting tree owners from more and more property owners that just want tree gone. Because of extra maintenance required in fall raking leaves and cleaning gutters. Sometimes old growth trees that have been in same spot for 350 years become part of legal issue.
