Wow, that is surreal, Casey. Scanned from a negative; the farm ladies are preparing to feed the threshing crew sometime in the late 1920's or early 30's. On the far left is my Great Aunt, Marion. She's 102 today. Ron

| what a great backdrop, Casey! We are lucky enough to still have an A&W in our small town. I don't see many of them, any more.

There. I fixed it. This was pretty easy and only took about 10 minutes, however since its somewhat low-res, you'd probably want to fix it in the original. Tomorrow I'll post a couple of images I fixed that were a fair bit more work.

Bigack, The program I used was Paint Shop Pro although I'm sure many image editing programs could be used. The key tool is the clone brush, which allows you to select one portion of an image and paint a copy of that part of the image onto another part of the image. So to remove the wires in the sky, I selected a portion of the sky without wires and cloned that on top of the wires. I then did similarly for the wires going across the trees. Things like grass or sky or leaves where there is no regular pattern that the eye can pick up, are pretty easy to work with. Here's another quicky example: gazania, the squirrels stole your bird feeders! and the bird bath too!

Ron, what a wonderful picture of the old days back when the women fed the threshing crew. Way before my time, but I love old pictures. Thanks for posting.

Bob, please make the "squirrels" bring back my bird feeders and the bath. We have almost $300 tied up in bird seed to fill those feeders and the birds love the bath! LOL
