My grandmother....born 1892, she once dated/was engaged to the son of a jeweler. Some of her pieces, a 24k solid, but hollow bead choker, 18k rings, gold plated pearl & ruby buttons on a chain.....the 18k orchid brooch was purchased by me later.....

An old Photograph and momentos of a time past.

Here is the story to go with my fire picture:

Arson is suspected in house fire

Arson investigators are looking into a fire that burned a vacant house Saturday and singed two others in northwest Oklahoma City.

Early reports were that someone set the fire at 2309 W Lindley just before noon, said Bobby Lax, a battalion chief with the Oklahoma City Fire Department.

Two vagrants who were inside the single-story house escaped uninjured, but the house was a total loss, Lax said.

The vacant house sustained about $20,000 in damage, while the adjacent houses each sustained several thousand dollars in heat damage, Lax said.
