Name three fun things you are doing today.

1. Talking to my kids on the phone

2. Being home with Izzi

3. Taking a ride outside on my big rig while it is nice weather.

1. Going to the diner for morning coffee with my pals Lynn and Lou (Lucille).
2. Going to the library.
3. Playing with my 2 cats.

Fun? Not much fun planned today.

I will give the donkeys some carrots...fun for them.

I will put flea meds on the rest of the cats and dog that I didn't get to yesterday...not fun, but neither are fleas.

I will check and see if the cats caught any mice that I can feed to the possums. (Every day for the past week or so, one of my cats has brought two little mice and left them on the steps. Fun for the possums.)

OK, since you asked...what I did today I reviewed 27 individual profit and loss statements before I signed off on the verification of the November financial statements. I had a conference call to review the status of the remaining 2012 capital projects, actual spend and projected estimated final costs. And I spent the rest of the afternoon arguing dealing with screwups issues on the Capital Budgeting system which was giving me incorrect spend data to prepare a report that was due at end of day and didn't get done :(

Update from o j, Was out of time at earlier library, so ... ... secondly, came to talk to you folks ... ... shopped for milk (on sale) and yogurt ... ... bought some glucosamine sulfate - that may help my arthritis. Had a bowl of soup at local restaurant (as had had only a coffee and slice of bread since morning), then, came here to talk to you folks (again). Tomatoes, all gathered last week, were pretty well friz; have some cabbages to get in tomorrow (before snow flies), then all that's left in the garden is swiss chard, that's sending up new, fresh shoots ... and broccoli, that's recently been sending out tiny bracts. They're both tough, when it comes to frost. Three-quarters of a mile of garden seems about enough. ole joyful

Its another dreary day here, foggy & rain ahead. I was going to go town but I don't know now.

Not sure how much time for fun we're going to have today, but 3 things we have planned:

1--drive back to the old neighborhood

2--surprising my dd's work collegues with a spice cake with burnt butter frosting (okay, so that's fun).

3--go with DH to an appt. at his surgeon's to see what the issue he's having might be (a new hernia, problem with the old one, something else?) and what needs to be done.

1: Sister's Day lunch at the Home. All 6 sisters there.
2: Rest, watch tv, be on computer until it's time for #3
3: Go to dinner at an Amish home (baked chicken and stuffing)

Today is a dark day for me~~

Have to put our kitty of 18 fun years down

I have a UTI trying home remedies~~any advice post them to me

Trying to pay a camera red light ticket on line and I guess signing up for traffic school;(

Fried Oyster po'boy at the Shrimp Dock with my best friend for lunch.
Went to pulmonary rehab with DH.
Went to the new Costco and bought a member's card, got a $10 gift card as a premium for joining. Dang, cost more to join than I expected. Guess we'll see if it's worthwhile.

1.Made pumpkin bread to satisfy a craving

2.Didn't know what to make for dinner so I decided to make it a game. I had to make the first thing I pulled out of the freezer ( boneless pork chops) and make the first recipe in my book (of tried and true) that I found using pork -szechuan pork!

3. DD(19) wanted to come with me when I pick ed up DS(13) from school today. We got to wait in the car and chat-it was a nice day with even a breeze!
