I hear you, E....and I keep mulling this over in my head. I'm probably not making enough money to justify my time. But then, if I greatly increased the price of my bread, I might not sell any at all. Purchasing the needed ingredients does not take a lot of my time, especially if my friend can pick up the flour for me. By staying with just breads and rolls, I don't have to buy a lot of the expensive ingredients used in other types of baking - chocolate, nuts, dried fruits, cheese, cream, etc. The baking does take time - so I try to divide it up between 3 nights after work, Wed., Thurs., and Fri. The selling time is only 3-4 hours or less on Saturday morning, then I'm done. What I see is that I'm adding some more money to my monthly budget. And it is all relative, what might be considered a good chunk of change to me might seem like a pittance to someone else. Teresa
