After the the fun, the football, the visits. It is so soothing. Forgive the dramatics but you find yourself sitting on the porch saying God, thank you. :)

We had a light rain this afternoon for about 2 hours, and I mean light. Tonight when I went to bed it started again but didn't last long. First moisture we have had in 3 moths here in central SD. Just enough to settle the dust. I thanked God for it though and prayed for more.

With the rain Sunday and again Monday, we got a total of 3 1/2 inches for which we too gave thanks.
