I went to Payless Shoes last week and found a pair of black clogs on sale for $27.00 regular $54.99. When I went to pay, I asked the cashier if they still took AMA for an additional 10% off. She said no, as the shoes were only $10.00. She told me that any shoes with a red tag were $10.00. I told her to hang on a minute and went back and found a pair of sandals, then grabbed a pair of earrings and a necklace. Total price for everything was $27.01. Then I went to the Goodwill store and found a brand new winter jacket (still had the tag on from the original store) for $7.00, but it had a green tag and it was green tag day so the jacket ended up costing me $3.50. Next, stopped at Penningtons because I needed a belt. Found one I liked for $24.99 and went to pay, cashier said that will be $1.04. What??? She said it rang up at $0.99. So, all in all a good shopping day for me.

Yes! We recently went out of town to do our grocery shopping as our local grocer is the only game in town and they take advantage of the situation with ridiculously high prices. One of the stores we visited had a one day only special - 40 pounds of either chicken thighs or boneless chicken breasts for $10. Only 25 cents per pound! We snapped up a box of the thighs, and when we got home, packaged them in groups of eight. We grilled a pack the other night and they are really nice quality with none of the bruising that is often found around the bones. I think they may have been packaged for restaurants. Since the lockdown started and shortages have been an issue, we've seen quite a few restaurant packs of various food items at the grocery store due to the closure of so many restaurants and the re-directing of food to the grocery stores. Whatever the reason was that the market had them, I was thrilled!

I found a favorite color of Revlon Color Stay Suede lipstick online at $13 for two tubes. Earlier this year it was 'discontinued' and the only tube online was $26 for one. (Never mind!) This isn't really a 'bargain' but it's still a 'find IMO': Revlon #030 "High Heels", a medium pink. I ordered two other colors at $6 and pennies each. It's a Green Shame (!) that they are three separate deliveries.

Nicole_ That was a great deal! I have a couple of different colors (pink, white, and pale yellow) of those tree lilies (Orienpet lilies). They will grow taller every year, and they certainly do get to 10+ feet tall after several years. Once they approach that height, it is a good idea to stake them, as they will tend to lean with the weight of the large flowers. The tallest one in this photo is just topping 8 foot They also reproduce, unless you deadhead them. I let them, and so now I have a little lily forest in one corner. What colors did you get? I would have liked a purple, but never managed to get that color on sale.
