Remember the tree I tried to ID?

My DD took the pics to the Garden Center and showed them to the owner. He said it is a Crab apple tree, and the best thing to do is cut it down, and kill the roots. He said if it were moved it would take ten years to bear fruit, if it ever did.

I do have a Dwarf Crab apple tree about 25 feet away from this one, but it blooms and fruits every year, so I don't think they are related.

So byebye to the "Bean Stalk Tree" and waiting for Jack to show up.
