OK, I admit that I am an old person in a young person's world. I am a traditionalist and try to communicate with my voice rather than 'texting' information. Thus I am an old man. I don't mind keyboarding things with you folks though!
I was reading an article about something (I forget what - part of the old man syndrome I guess) in the morning newspaper and they used a hashtag. I looked it up online just to see what I am missing.
As I understand it, a communication via a hand-held device that uses words rather than voice can have a hashtag included to draw attention to a specific topic or person. If that were the case, could I create my own hashtag? Ya know something like #Mr.NiceGuy? Or, to attract attention to us - #The Kitchen Table @ GardenWeb?
Of course that would require me to use my hand-held device for something other than phone calls!
