Stand-Up Paddle Boarding

Chloe and her friend started a stand-up paddle board class last week. It's so cool! I want to try, but want to do it alone, on a deserted beach!

LOL... I am pretty sure you cannot paddleboard on a deserted beach!!

Lots of SUPing (Stand Up Paddle-boarding) around here. I have enough trouble walking, I'll leave the SUPing to someone more coordinated. :-)

Lots of this in Hawaii. Not as adventurous as skateboarding or wind-surfing, but still a workout I'm not going to attempt!

I'm doing it next year for sure!

I just got an email picture of my baby sister, age 74, paddle boarding on Lake Superior! She's a skier, kayaker, hiker, canoe-er, and everything I am not!

I'm 73 and I don't think so!

Although I did go parasailing!

I'd try that...only in shallow water though.

I'll do it on a deserted beach too. NO ONE is allowed to watch! I'd like a really wide board tho.

Exactly, Toni_NE! The boards were quite wide and stable, and I think I could do it, but don't want to be entertainment for the masses as I tumbled gracelessly into the water!

Although, on second thought, you had to stand from a crouching position,a and my knees don't work well enough to crouch..

It can get pretty exciting . . .

No, no Mojomom. *My* deserted island has nice, flat water all around.:)
