Murder in the First (TV show)

Hubby saw this show last week, and another one just tonite. He quite likes it; a political show. We'll have to start watching it together, online.

Does anyone else watch it?

I watched the first 2 or so, and I have recorded the others. Just have not watched them as yet with all the family visits this summer, and other shows to watch.

I have been recording the series but have not watched them, actually I did watch the pilot that's all.

I must have heard only the good things about her. She's close to her family, and, with her husband, adopted a baby girl from Korea, where her own adopted sister was born. I believe the baby had a heart defect, which was treated after the adoption. I forget the baby's name, but it's unusual because it's a combination of Heigl's mother and sister. She and her husband adopted another baby as well. Plus she is a strong advocate for animals, which I greatly appreciate. Alfre Woodard is also in "State of Affairs;" I like her too. Yes, I'll watch--if I remember. I'm famous for forgetting to watch the beginning, or (more likely) watching the first couple of episodes and then forgetting. ;-)

pillog, I hear ya about the real political candidates. Fools, bullies, and jerks. Not all, but seriously, is this the best we can do? I agree that Alicia is no worse by a long shot, but really, besides being the real power (and charisma) between her and Peter, she's just a very beautiful face. Those early years were fantastic when she was recovering from Peter's betrayals and coming up through the ranks of Lockhart/Gardner. And Will. My friend thought he was a rat, but I loved him. So did Alicia. And now that she's risen to the top and beyond, what's left that's plausible? The quirky judges and courtroom scenes are fun, but the drama's gone. It happened to The West Wing and I hate to see it happening here. Although that new guy, the one who took Kalinda's place, is really cute.

I am still trying to catch up on shows...Castle I'll catch soon...with 10 shows to watch you can tell I got bored with it...have really enjoyed Scandal, The Black List, HTGAWM, sooo many shows...sooo little time but my TIVO has lots of room and some of the networks have a skip feature which with the push of one button rids all the commercials...Although I do admit to liking some of the commercials...Think Suburu dog commercials and basically anything with a dog!!...must keep this post going cause there is gonna come a time when I'm looking for something to watch...Netflix is gearing up with some good ones as well as Amazon Prime!! I loved Simon Baker in The Guardian...have season one of the mentalist on DVD and have watched a few shows here and there... I loved Person of Interest...his whispering voice seems to be part of the persona of his character...he is such a good actor with so many places to go...I missed the show and am glad they are wrapping things up... I'm still not over Downton being gone and now their wrapping up Mr. Selfridge...I watched Poldark last year and am hoping there is more to that show on PBS...

Very few of the shows listed on here are what I would call feel good shows! My husband watches a lot of regular television re runs, all the westerns, but I do not have time to watch. I almost never watch television in the day. I do like a few in the evening and night, some cooking shows, As Time Goes By, A Place To Call Home, and would watch others from BBC if they were on here. You would think I would like to watch more television because as a child in or around 1948 we were the first to have television out in the country, had no inside bathroom but we had a television. My Dad started repairing them and then he started selling them. He used to repair radios in days of old. I would much rather read or color or embroider instead of watching television, now if something catches my eye, I would watch it. Sue

It's a good show. Another good one is Motive. At the beginning of the show they let you know who the victim is, and who the killer is. The rest of the hour is trying to find out the motive for the murder. Motive is filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia.

I watch them both as well.

For Murder in the First, I'm so afraid that he did it and will get away with it. Now I do have the last 2 weeks taped so maybe something will have happened to change my mind about this.

Blfenton, I didn't realize it's an ongoing story. I'll have to tell Hubby to not watch anymore, and we'll make sure we see it from the beginning.

Haven't ever even heard of either one of them. Will have to check them out. They both sound interesting.

I really like Major Crimes, The Closer spin off, and Murder in the First is on right after it. I'm usually X stitching, while I'm watching, and there's nothing on after Major Crimes that I like, so I just left the same channel on, for the 1st episode, not paying much attention to Murder In The First. The following week something caught my attention on MITF, so I watched more closely, now I'm hooked. I know the season will be ending soon for both shows, and I'm not happy. Hoping that the new season on the big networks will take up the slack.
