RIP, Betty Bacall. I have a feeling she lived life to the fullest, on her terms. She was a class act, and will be missed.

It seems like the passing of an era, doesn't it?
She's of the Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Dorothy Lamour, Clark Gable, Carole Lombard, etc generation;
almost all of them are gone.

She had looks, talent, & backbone, & Humphrey Bogart loved her.

I always remember her saying, to Bogart,

"You know how to whistle, don't you?
Put your lips together & blow."

I too hate to hear of her passing, today I just bought her book, By Myself and Then Some. I hope I can find time to read it.
